- Your feet always touch felted wool when you wear BureBure slippers or shoes. The inner part of our footwear is 100 % woolen. We strengthen or decorate only the outer part of the shoe. We never break this rule because wool is the most comfortable & aesthetically beautiful analog of human hair. Nowhere your feet could feel as relaxed as in this breathable and seamless woolen footwear.
- The secret of lightweight footwear is primarily determined by the material and process that transforms it - wool and felting. Felting is one of the longest and purest processes in textile. BureBure woolen footwear is felted by hands into a solid structure using just clean hot water and natural olive soap.
- Like a second skin. BureBure slippers are designed to wear on bare feet. New shoes usually feel a bit tight/close-fitting. Do not worry, they gradually widen and adjust to feet size.
- Rest your feet. Felted wool massages the skin and prevents sweating. Due to insulation of wool fibers, your feet remain cool on a hot day and warm on a cold day.
- We carefully monitor wool production. Wool that we use and sell is prepared and colored according to our own requirements. The materials we use to decorate our items are mostly all upcycled.
- NEW! Natural woollen house shoes with front wide adjustable cutting gives comfort for a high instep and wide feet if you have this issue.
- Handmade in Europe. BureBure is a family business founded in an organic sheep farmstead in Lithuania. Our footwear is 100 % handmade by our family members or local artisans.
- Easy to take care of. Felted boot with hand-stitched soles - dry clean or vacuum-clean them and then leave to ventilate for a few hours. Slippers with latex- wash them in lukewarm water with a small amount of wool cleaning agent and then leave to dry naturally at room temperature.
